      Hi Dean,

We are going to have to refer you to your doctor on that one! Be on the lookout in your inbox for an email from our support team. It will include a way to contact Mark directly. He’d be happy to learn more and help if he can. Best, GolfersRX

      Hi Bob,

This is what Mark passed along,

Anything that doesn’t cross the knee across the center line. Past a year or more post-op, this is less of a concern as long as you are mobile. We actually touched on some great stretches for people with hip replacements in a previous video: https://youtu.be/dg4jhxlfC3U

Im a right-handed golfer who Underwent a left hip replacement for approximately four years ago as well as had three left knee arthroscopy’s and a total left shoulder reconstruction ac revision. Needless to say I have trouble getting over to my left side and also I am not as limber as I used to be. What exercises would you recommend to loosen up before around. I went from a nine handicap to a 19 handicap in the matter of two years.

      Hi Kenny,
With your list of surgeries I would need to screen you and see how you move before telling you what exercises I would recommend. Feel free to email me to chat more. mark@thegolfyogi.com
      Thanks!

Great videos that really help me recover. Otherwise, I would look like a 95 year old man getting off the couch.

    Keep them coming

    Mark,

I am 73 years old and have torn rotator cuffs on both shoulders. I am not going to get them surgically repaired and have rehabbed them to where I can swing the club without any pain. However, my swing is much shortened from what it used to be. I hit my drives about 225 to 235, but, would like more distance. What would you suggest as exercises to get my swing longer for more distance?? Thanks!!

When is the best time to do the recovery stretches? Right after playing golf or later in the evening? Thanks for all the great content.

These are excellent. And are good for pre-game warmups as well.

A note on the very first stretch you demonstrated, for the wrists and forearms. I’ve done a version of that for about 15 years to prevent golfer’s elbow. I get on all fours and flip my arms and hands around as you demonstrate, so my fingers are pointed backwards at me, and ever so gently, sit back until you feel a solid stretch in your wrists and forearms. After a bit you can lean a little further back until it becomes uncomfortable, and then back off that position slightly.
I spend 1 minute a day doing this exercise, and always before playing a round of golf, and have not had golf or tennis elbow in over 15 years!

I have two replaced hips. Which one of these excersizes should I’d be careful of ? I could go to my Doctor but he’d charge $200.00. Please advise.

I am in my mid 70’s and my knees just don’t bend past 70-90 degrees. Do you have upper and especially lower body excercises that can help strengthen me?
    Thank you.
