Perfect Posture Drill

The worst part about hitting it fat, then thin, followed by a pull is there’s no consistency to them, which makes it hard to pin point the issue.

Before you go off and begin to overhaul your entire golf swing there’s one place that you can begin to look.

Your Posture.

An inconsistent posture from address throughout your swing can bring in all sorts of inconsistently bad shots.

Now I’ve always found that working on my posture during my swing can be difficult.

In today’s video I have a super simple drill to help you maintain a healthy posture especially at impact where it counts.

    One of the things I’m looking at is the difference in the length of clubs that have increased over the years. When standing normally and holding an iron in my left hand by my side, I have to grip the club two or more inches from the butt end to have the sole of the club resting on the ground. My old clubs that I used for years were a good two inches shorter and I now have to choke down on the clubs to prevent chunking shots and hitting behind the ball. I don’t think club manufacturers understand the problems they have created for golfers who have played the game for a number of years and have grooved their swings with shorter shafted clubs and smaller head on their woods.
