Aspire Tip: Aim Small For Better Precision

Aim small, miss small.

Here is an Aim Small Golf Tip.  But first, when you’re pitching the ball, are you focusing on where you want the ball to end up? Or where you want to land the ball?  That is the trick, learning how to aim correctly in golf.

I think that if you focused on where to land the ball as opposed to wanting to get it close to the hole, you’d find your pitches, invariably, will end up closer to the hole.

Aim Small Golf Tip

Here’s a fun little drill…zap off or walk off a 30-50 yard pitch. With about 5 balls, try and get the ball close to the hole.

Now lay your golf towel on the green where you’d like the ball to land and pitch 5 more balls.

I think you’ll find that when you pick your landing area, when you focus on a specific spot to land the ball instead of the hole, your misses will be much smaller than if you focus on the spot where you want the ball to end up.

That is how to improve your aim in golf; aim small, miss small!

In today’s tip, you’ll see the Aspire Laser Rangefinder in action.

It is top-of-the-line in terms of quality and features but available for a fraction of the price.

I like the idea but I use a little different approach. I look at 1/3 to 2/3s of the distance to the hole. The 2/3s are for rollout after landing depending on the club(s) you like to use and how hard you tend to strike the ball. The 1/3rd is the spot to land your ball.
More like a pitch and run instead of flying.
