Should you have a swing thought or should you not.
How many times have you said ‘don’t hit it in water’ and then done exactly that? Even though you’re telling yourself NOT to hit it in the water, you’re putting the image of the water in your mind. What if you switched it up? What if you kept those thoughts positive?
Instead of thinking ‘don’t hit it in the water’, what if you thought about/visualized the spot you wanted the ball to land. What if you thought about what you wanted to do instead of what you didn’t want to do? Talk about taking some pressure off.
