LIVEVIEW – Consistent Ball Position

Work on the basics...work on a consistent ball position

Brooks Keopka doesn’t practice a lot of mechanics…he practices the golf fundamentals. Grip, posture, alignment, golfball position.

Your golfball position is made really easy with a tool like a LiveView Digital Swing Mirror. You’re literally looking at yourself in the mirror.

Golfball Position

What I like to do is set up with an alignment stick or towel across my toes. I place a ball where my driver ball position is (just off my front heel) and my pitching wedge (middle of my stance). From there, I start placing balls along with the towel where each club falls.

I want to make sure that I’m setting up with the same ball position repeatedly for the most consistency. The LiveView helps tremendously with a basic fundamental like this.

I keep the ball in the same place. I only move my rear foot back further, as the clubs gets longer.
