Beautiful swing. Great advise on ball placement so that we will hit the ball on the upswing!

So, if the bottom of the driver swing is somewhere behind the ball (4 inches?, 2 inches?), what do you focus your eyes on? A blade of grass at the bottom of the swing? Or a dimple somewhere on the back side of the ball?

Moe Norman says your swing should balance you. Balance was the key for Mr. Hogan at the top of his backswing, and top of the follow through. In the best swings, the rotational force and vertical force combine to hold the golfer in balance, like Ben Hogan did! Just trying to finish the swing with the feet not moving is a great first step!

“The key to improving is technique.” What an incredible revelation! The key to not drowning is to learn to swim.

Yeah, but you see many golfers trying to get better through gimmicks or buying the newest drivers or clubs. How many golfers that have been playing for years, including myself, never take lessons to try to improve their technique. I know his answer sounds simple but so many players don’t do it.

Please explain the optimum release point of recoil in the shaft. Correct me if I am wrong but it appears that the shaft of your club is releasing way too early sacrificing distance.
