Your Forearms Power Your Putting

They create consistency in your putting stroke

Hey Quite The Chap here for GolfersRX…(slap forearms) that’s where all my putting power comes from…in today’s video.

If your putting stroke resembled an actual pendulum you would be a great putter. Think about it, you pull a pendulum back and it swings through smoothly and effortlessly on the same line time and time again. So how can we replicate that.

Your putter and your forearms should create a straight line
There shouldn’t be any kinks or hitches in this line
Straight down
From there you can just rock your shoulders
You don’t have to do anything with your hands or wrists, they’re just along for the ride.

I think I’ve said it about a billion times, golf is about consistency. And the more consistent you can make your putting stroke the easier it’s going to be to judge distance control, aim properly, etc. Forearms, straight line, rock the shoulders.

Until next time, keep it simple
