    Good tip. I am in the habit of hitting the hot tub after golf. Sounds like I should switch up and get in before, and then maybe ice after wards. I have many sore spots: back, both feet and ankles, left wrist, knees (especially the right one), right hip (maybe bursitis according to my orthopedic surgeon who fused my left ankle). I will also focus on the key message here: active stretches before; static after. Thanks.

      Thanks for the info. I have been very sore and tight in my left hip-buttocks area for years.( right handed golfer). I know this is probably sciatica, as I have some back issues also. I have been doing golf stretches for some time that help. Is there any way to strengthen and loosen this area to relieve pain? I have read where a roller can help if used properly.

      Within an hour or two to get the body awake/engaged/and ready to swing a club. Then a normal warm up at the course/range.

    I love your videos and can’t thank you enough for your advice. I am 72, and have been to a personal trainer to maintain strength and flexibility for the past 12 years. My single digit handicap makes me realize it was all worth it. Thanks again!!

    Great video and advice. Please remind your viewers that their knees should be closed when doing the sole to sole stretches. Some of the more competitive sorts may twist a knee (like I did 30 years ago during a yoga (!!) class and tear something).

    Off topic question- What is the surface in your exercise room? I am building a workout area ((yoga, stretching, band exercises etc,)
