Banana Ball, Slice, Fade, or any of your favorite terms. What do you call Right
Hey, Quite The Chap here for GolfersRX. Wanna Break 90? For once in your life, you got loose on the range before your round; you’re feeling good. You tee up the ball on the first and…FORE RIGHT…in today’s video.
Banana Ball
If you’ve never hit a slice off the first tee, please pass Go and collect a million dollars. For every other human being on the face of the earth, here is a quick little reminder/tip for you.
Check your ball position:
— If the ball is too far forward in your swing, it opens your shoulders at address.
— This restricts how far you can turn your shoulders in your backswing.
— The ball should fall somewhere really close to being in line with the logo on your shirt.
— This allows you to address the ball with a square stance.
— Which in turn, allows you to make a full turn more easily.
If you’re sponsored, make sure your logos are stitched on your chest somewhere around here to make this drill relevant. If they stitch the logos here…it’s going to make things a little awkward and difficult.
