Hey, Quite The Chap here for GolfersRX. Welcome to the How to Shoot in the 80’s series in the 60 Second Series, where today we’re going to learn to hit crisp Chip shots.
How to hit crisp pitch shots? The first trick to dialing in your pitching is hitting crisp, clean shots…consistently.
I mishit pitch shots, thinning chip shots, which make distance control next to impossible. Chunking and blading chip shots are agonizing!
Crisp Chip Shots
Simple steps to consistency:
– Take your normal step-up,
– Place a folded up towel, headcover, golf ball under the outside of your back foot,
– Make your regular swings,
What this is encouraging is:
– a consistent center of gravity,
– proper weight transfer.
Consistent strikes of the ball or a repeatable golf chip shot technique will create a better game from 100 yards and in. Hit Crisp Chip Shots.
Until next time keep it simple.
