Wanna Break 90? Take Enough Club

In order to lower your scores, you need to know how far you actually hit the ball

Golf Club Distance can vary, but it shouldn’t.  You should know the distance you can hit each club.  Do you Take Enough Club?

Hey, Quite The Chap here for GolfersRX. I hit my 9 iron 175 yards one time. So now, naturally, I try and hit my 9 iron 175 yards…in today’s video.

Golf Club Distance

This is not a new issue. It’s been lingering for as long as egos have existed. Sometimes being short of the pin or even the green is not a bad play. But if you’re consistently leaving your shots short, it’s because you don’t hit that club that far!

This is a simple fix to figure out your Golf Club Distance on the driving range or a quiet evening at the golf course.

Use the 100-yard marker as a target and figure out which club gets you there consistently.

Then do the same for the 150-yard marker.

These two clubs alone will give you a better idea of how far you hit each club.

If you have access to a portable launch monitor…even better! Use it! It’ll save you strokes.

You can make a golf club distance chart or track your golf club distance average, but that is for breaking 80!
