We all need lower body mobility for better stability in our golf swing. In this video the Golf Yogi shows you how to get more mobility in your ankles to give you more stability in your golf swing.
More mobility in your lower body is going to help you transfer your weight to a full, complete, and balanced finish. As Carl Spackler put it best “What you’ve got to do is cut the hamstring on the back of his leg right at the bottom. He’ll never play golf again, because his weight displacement goes back, all his weight is on his right foot, and he’ll push everything off to the right. He’ll never come through on anything. He’ll quit the game.”
It’s a little extreme but the point is the same…if you can’t transfer your weight and get through the ball properly, you’re going to hang back and quit mid swing. Mobilize your lower body and stabilize your follow through.
