I am 73 (male) and have always been athletic with fairly poor flexibility. For the last 3 years I have been doing hamstring stretches DAILY and here is my result – I have no more hamstring flexibility than when I started stretching years ago. I cannot come close to touching my toes without bending at the knees. Very disappointing.

Those were great stretches Mark. Simple and effective.
I have a question on hips. Im a right handed golfer. Lately I’ve experienced discomfort in my right hip when I go into my backswing. Midway into my round, I was unable to load into my right side at all.
    I welcome any suggestions.
    Thanks

Thank you. I’ve been waiting for simplistic exercises that may help those of us who are seniors and lack flexibility.

Do you have any exercises that would add flexibility (rotation) and strength to the spine?

Very helpful, simple to do, makes a big difference for a 72 old that has started to lose alot of flexibility along with distance. Thanks for the tips, just what I was looking for!

I do 12 oz. curls on the turn when I feel tight and when I totally destroyed the front nine, It works for me, I have no clue why, but it does. Maybe this has something to do with tension relaxation and an attitude of who cares. I usually shave a minimum of 10 strokes. Take this to your golf academy LOL! I am dead serious here.
