Golf Balance Groundwork – Fitness Friday

These groundwork drills may look strange, but there's no better way to build a solid core and increase whole-body stability.

Your Golf Balance will improve as your build a solid core.  Golf Balance drills do not require a golf balance board or any other golf balance training aids.  Just like your pitch shots, we want to keep it low and get it on the ground.

Golf Balance

The Golf Yogi, Mark Williamson, shows some golf balance exercises that are all on the ground.  These groundwork drills may look strange, but there’s no better way to build a solid core and increase whole-body stability.

I have 2 swings. Yes balanced for irons and try to hold the follow thru. But for the driver I usually swing real hard and back peddle on occasion. Doesn’t seem to hurt. I feel I’m getting my hardest swing that way and I force a draw or it goes straight.

love these moves- on a different note, When I do a bridge my hamstrings want to cramp. Can you suggest a good stretch for them, or do a segment on stretches for legs? Thanks
