Hey, Quite The Chap here for GolfersRX. Stop Swaying in your Golf Swing. But first, I’m going to apologize beforehand; I’ve made so many how-to golf videos about how to stop swaying and sliding …and I think I do it for my own sake…because I still have a hard time trying to stop backswing sway in my swing. So please bear with me one more time for an anti-sway golf drill.
You can chunk it. You can thin it. Just by moving from here to here. Or here to here. It doesn’t take much, especially if your hand-eye coordination is waning like mine.
What you want to feel in your body, it posting up or loading your back leg. You want to feel the power from your backswing building in your back leg. Then you can unload it, leveraging the ground.
Stop Swaying in your Golf Swing
Using the Balance Rod, you’re going to be able to develop that feeling of loading your back leg. Lay it down perpendicular to your target and place the outside of your back foot on it. You’re creating a wedge that will help you store that power instead of losing it by swaying back.
Store it, then release it.
Until next time, keep it simple.
In today’s video, you’ll see Colby using the Eyeline Balance Rod.
The Balance Rod causes an initial imbalance that will force your body to use your legs for stabilization rather than your spine. You will have grounded athletic posture and balance within a few swings, and you will Stop Swaying in your Golf Swing.
And we have it on sale!
