3 Exercises For More Rotation And Longer Drives

The Golf Yogi will show you how to produce more rotation in your golf swing so you can achieve longer drives.

All exercises for Golf will help your game.  These Golf Exercises will increase your rotation and help you hit longer drives.

Exercises for Golf

What’s up, GolfersRx, Mark Williamson, the Golf Yogi, here to show you how to produce more rotation in your golf swing so you can achieve longer drives.

A wide rotation in your golf swing is going to allow you to complete a full backswing. By rotating into a full backswing, you’ll store more power to unleash into the back of the ball.

These three exercises for golfing will show you how to rotate around your axis properly. You’ll stretch out your shoulders, your torso, and your back. If you can rotate around a stable base, you’ll be that much closer to longer drives.

I believe a sprained ankle needs rest, not further stretches. Once relatively pain free, the you can start doing gentle mobility…

I enjoy your videos. They are very helpful in creating flexibility in the golf swing. There is one point I want to point out to you that would be helpful for you in your exercises. The swing center of the golf swing is the 7th cervical of your spine. It acts as a ball joint and the shoulders are the socket which turn around the ball joint in the swing. Holding the head still in the golf swing is a kiss of death to a successful swing. The golf swing is a throwing motion from the athletic position. Holding the head still leads to hitting from the top which causes approximately 90 percent of all golfers in the world to slice by preventing the golfer to turn around one leg at a time in the golf swing to create the throwing motion. The head turns on this ball joint and basically turns on a circular plane. The shoulder turn is a cross-stretch around this ball joint in the modern powerful golf swing. They do not just rotate in a circle with a still head in spite of how often a golfer is told to keep his head still. The head and the shoulders can both rotate around the 7th cervical at the same time on the backswing. The lower part of the spine will move to the right on the backswing to load the power for release on the forward swing. I have more to tell you but would be happy to talk to you in private as I will be publishing in the near future when I finish the illustrations. I’m an 82 year old PGA Golf Professional and I have known Ben Hogan’s major secret for many years. It explains a new pure form of strength conditioning that no trainer has ever used that would be beneficial to you in your work. I go by Lew.
