Short on Par 3s?  It’s well known that most amateur golfers find themselves short of the flag on their approach shots or Par 3 tee shots. So, why is that? Because they under club or select the club that flies at or near the desired distance when hit just right.

Short on Par 3s

News alert! The majority of amateurs don’t hit it just right and thus find themselves short. I know, nothing new here, but if you want to shoot lower scores, you NEED to club up versus going with your stock shot every time.

Watch Mr. Short Game for his interesting take on this golf tip. Try this approach next time out practicing your short game. You’ll get a feel for your distance and accuracy when selecting one or even two clubs up from your “just right shot.”  This is one of the best short game videos to stop coming up short on Par 3s
