3 Back Bends For Posture & Rotation

Develop better posture and rotation throughout your swing with these three back bends!

What’s up, GolfersRx, Mark Williamson, the Golf Yogi to demonstrate three back bends. They will help you with your posture over the ball and rotation in your swing.

Back Bends

These three backbends will help open up your back. Open up your chest, your shoulders, and your heart. These golf stretches will allow you to maintain your spine angle throughout your golf swing. And it’s going to allow more mobility in your swing.

Maintaining a supple back with back bends is so important in golf. As we age, creating more mobility in our back and spine will help us, not just with our swings but with our movement around the golf course as a whole.

Hi Mark–First, I really enjoy your videos. I am 65 years old and was diagnosed with spinal stenosis 5 years ago. As a result, I employ a daily stretching routine which has kept me pain free since. I would like to incorporate some of your back stretches into my routine and have a couple of questions–1) how long would you recommend holding each pose and 2) how many reps of each would you say is appropriate. Thanks much!
