Everyone wants to do a few stretches before golf. But, we’ve all been there: rushing to the first tee. Maybe we have enough time to hit 5 balls. Roll a putt as we walk across the putting green to the first tee. Yeah, we can hear the tires screeching in the parking lot now.
Stretches Before Golf
What’s up, GolfersRx, Mark Williamson, the Golf Yogi, here to demonstrate half a dozen stretches to get you warmed up. You’ll be able to walk to the first tee collected, focused, and, most importantly, in rhythm.
The biggest obstacle we face walking to the first tee, especially if we’re running late, is to collect ourselves, our breath, our focus and put a nice solid swing on the tee.
These are the best stretches before golf and they may surprise you. They don’t require you to pound 25 balls in rapid succession but rather slowly warm your body up.
